Id assume you want to germinate some sweet corn. Germination of corn and most other seeds can be greatly improved by the use of ordinary cattle or horse urine poured onto the top of the soil where seeds are planted. It enhances the natural bacteria and enzymes in the soil and provides instantly available urea which aids the germination process.

Many commercial tomato growers use this process to germinate their expensive hybrid seeds which have an improved germination rate of over 90%. The regular germination rate of hybrid tomato seeds is about 60% or even less, so one can see that this is a very benefical thing to do.

If you're asking how many days it takes to germinate, that information can be found on the back of the seed packet. It depends on the specific variety of corn!
