Last summer, moles devastated it. The lawn has numerous holes and bare spots and it is really soft underneath. You walk on it, and it feels like you are sinking. How do we fix this?

Also, a couple of years ago, we redid the whole lawn (roter tilled, new soil, new seed). But we did not do a good job. The lawn is not flat and is uneven with lots of bumps. How can we fix this?

I am looking for creative solutions. We do not really have the resources to redo the lawn again at this time. I just want it to be safe for the kids to run around in the summer.

Thanks!!

what are the best plants to plant all year around I love greens and flowers My patio get some sun in the after noon and early mornings rest of the day its shaded . before the spring starts I want to start planting. I use moisture control potting mix. Any suggestions how to save my plants from dieing and keep them fresh all year round . I would also like to plant some fruits and vegetables which can grow in pots and what kind .
Moreover all my pots are made of clay and some are plastic and ceramic. which are best for best air circulation and I use plastic sheets at the bottom of my pots so my potting mix do not flow out when I water them. I also have some decorative metal pots how do I plant in them they are like nets. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated. thank you .

I bought a baby bamboo plant from patcatans right before valentines day and so far it's doing real well and it is very very cute my aunts b-day is coming up and I wanted to give her her own plant so I got and washed little rocks and a little vase and I had read online before that I think you where supposed to break off a sprout, put it in water, and seal the larger plant where you broke it off with clear nailpolish I don't want to ruin my plant. HELP!

Does anyone know where I can buy a drum style soils spreader?

You fill the drum with soil, then roll over the area you want to apply a even layer of mulch or top soil, like when planting winter grass, and you want an even layer of top soil over the seed to protect it from temperature and birds.

Where can you buy these spreaders. I am not talking about drop or broadcast spreader!

I know it costs money to fix up yards. But what is a cheap alternative to fixing the landscape for your own yard?

I would like something that is child friendly for a 4 yr old child.

Books/websites references would be extremely helpful.

Thank you!

I have a big backyard, connected on all 3 sides to someone else's yard. The only few trees in the yard are right next to the house, leaving 200 feet of yard completely empty. What should i put back there that's reasonable and will give me some privacy?

I was thinking about planting evergreen trees around the fence line, but then what could be done with the middle?

\\Hemp is the ONLY plant where the males appear one way and the females appear very different, physically! No one ever speaks of males and females in regard to the plant kingdom because plants do not show their sexes; except for hemp. To determine what sex a certain, normal, Earthly plant is: You have to look internally, at its DNA. A male blade of grass (physically) looks exactly like a female blade of grass. The hemp plant has an intense sexuality. //

Is this true ? it doesn't seem to be but I don't know?

I'm needing plants/shrubs that can be planted in large planters. The reason I require these is to create shade for my Koi pond to aid in getting rid of unwanted Algae growth.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
