We can grow every kind of vegetable you can in the Lower 48, although some of the "tropicals" (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, green beans & sweet corn) need to be in a greenhouse in colder summers. We can also grow apples, cherries & Siberian Kiwis, with alot of TLC and a few tricks. Do a Google search on gardening in Alaska, but better yet, talk to the old timers in your area........they know ALL the ins and outs! They don't call us "the Land of the Midnight Sun" for nothing........or the "Home of the Giant Cabbages" for that matter!!!!

in keeping with risk they purely did no longer prefer to open up a cafe there. it is fairly high priced at times delivery nutrition to Alaska, and in keeping with risk they thought the investment wasn't properly worth it. i do no longer understand, yet there could be some comparable eating places up in Alaska that serve cheddar biscuits and potato soup! good good fortune!
