I need to paint over it now, but how do I match the paint?

I rent, and so I found some paint in the garage - seems like leftover. I tried one of the buckets, but it was a little too yellow (seems like custom paint).

The wall seems mostly white, but man, how do I match it? I need to paint over the wrong yellowish paint now.

thank you in advance.

If I have an "in sink drainer," how do I wash dishes? Do I wash them in one side of the sink and then put the soapy ones on the drainer in the other side of the sink? If so, how do I rinse them? I don't have a sprayer thingy to spray the soap off. Or is this idea all wrong? IDK!!! Sorry for being stupid. I was very spoiled growing up and did not have chores. I'm living on my own for the first time and dishes are the only thing giving me trouble. Thanks!

I need to pre-filter water from river before it gets to sediment cartridge filter. I am thinking it will work but am concerned algae nay be a problem and clog backwash sand filter prematurely. Anyone had experience with this? Cartridge filter clogs in about a week so is an expensive problem. Any alternative way of doing this?

I am being told that, depending on what I have the temperature set at, the ac unit will blow at a temp that is more or less cool. I am not in agreeance with this. What I have always understood was, the ac unit blows at "one" cool temp, and if the fan is set on "auto", the thermostat will shut the ac off once the room reaches the temp you have set it to. If the fan is set on "on", the ac will blow nonstop regardless of what the temp is set to. Am I mistaken or can I stuff a sock in my advisors mouth?

I just moved into a new apartment and I suddenly have a weird problem with my toilet. Whenever I flush the toilet, water starts leaking out the right side of the tank into the floor. It's like too much water is refilling the tank or something. The maintenance people in my apartment take forever and don't seem to be very competent. Is there a way I can fix this myself? Any ideas what might be wrong? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
