If I have an "in sink drainer," how do I wash dishes? Do I wash them in one side of the sink and then put the soapy ones on the drainer in the other side of the sink? If so, how do I rinse them? I don't have a sprayer thingy to spray the soap off. Or is this idea all wrong? IDK!!! Sorry for being stupid. I was very spoiled growing up and did not have chores. I'm living on my own for the first time and dishes are the only thing giving me trouble. Thanks!

Wash on one side, but only fill the sink 1/2 full. Rinse over your wash side and place clean stuff in drainer. You'll find the way that works best for your situation after you've done it for a while. At least you're learning! :)

When I do dishes by hand, I get a soapy sponge and wash them one at a time rinsing as I finish each piece and then put it in the drainer.

You can find books at the library or book store on how to keep house. They have a lot of info in them.

Put your drainer on the counter next to your sink--put a towel under it. Wash your dishes sit them in the empty sink, rinse them and put them in the drainer. Hand washing dishes you need to use a good grease cutter soap, I use Palmolive, and I always wash glasses and non greasy stuff first and pots last, I drop all of the silver ware in the right hand of my soapy water, do not put knives in there you wash them one by one. You will get the hang of it--no question is dumb, if you don't ask you won't find out!!

As soon as you wash them rinse the soap off and put them on the drainer.Best way is to eat out and not worry about the dishes!

I liked the answer that said to eat out and you wouldn't have to worry about it. However, that would get expensive after awhile. My thought is paper plates and plastic forks, spoons and kniuves! After you're finished eating, throw them in the trash and the dishes are done!

After washing in soap, rinse under the fawcett, with full hot water, to rinse and sanitize. You can let drain after that.
Can you say "dishcloth"?

Use paper plates and plastic cups. Throw them away after each meal, and don't wash dishes...
