The hot water tank is adjacent to the bathroom. I would like the radiator to be hot all of the time when the hot water is hot. The radiator can be turned off from from its own valve.

The central heating system can run as hot water only or hot water and central heating.

I bought silly putty and accidentally got it on the remote control buttons. The buttons are rubbery if that helps. I got it off but accidentally got it on the telephone whose buttons are the same. I got it off by putting the silly putty on and quickly removing it, but its not working for the phone.

This is a Particle board covered with veneer dresser. I have sanded, primed, and used 2 coats of black flat interior paint. The paint is completely dry, but it can be scratched off to reveal the Kilz underneath... What can I do to "seal" it? I dont want to have to constantly worry about having to touch up.

I want to try a pesticide-free way of killing the few roaches that I found by my microwave. We have Argentine ants, and I was hoping they would eventually eat the roach's larvae, but that doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon.

I'd like to build something like this:

http://www.askthebuilder.com/B181_Dry_Stack_Barbeque_Plan.shtml

Here's what I have:

1 big concrete patio slab.

500 bricks leftover from the house (veneer)

Questions:

Can I use regular bricks, like the ones I have? Do I REALLY need fire bricks?

Can I use my concrete patio as a base, or should I make a new base?

Will a mortarless BBQ be able to withstand heavy winds (I live in Houston)?

Any suggestions on how I should proceed? Have any mortarless BBQ plans?

Thanks!

I bought a bookshelf and am currently assembling it. It uses cam-lockes to hold everything together. The instructions say to stand it on a hard flat surface to see if it wobbles. It does. They then say to "adjust the legs" ... How?

I have been tending a family plot for several years. Then my grandmother passed last August, and all my gardening was upheaved. But now the plot is full, nobody else will be buried there any more, and I would need to start from scratch. Any ideas on planting flowers that will come back next year and maybe a small type bush?

How do I know if it needs to be etched? Is Behr basement floor paint any good? Should I prime first and what are the advantages of prime? Thanks.

I have an old house and some of the corners are no longer exactly square. I'm a complete ninny at math, so how do I find out the correct angles to cut moldings and baseboards so they'll fit and look neat? Thanks.
Oh, I'm using a miter saw.
