Ok, it happened again. I am sure I sorted them into pairs before putting them into the machine.

The machine started, did it's thing, whirred around a bit then I went to get washing out and............ yep an odd sock!!

What happened to the other one?

I have a fountain in my side yard garden that some local kids dumped soap into. I found plastic cups filled with liquid dish detergent and laundry soap powder. It's in the filter and pump and everything. And it's a LARGE fountain. To empty it and clean everything out would be time consuming and labor intensive. Does anyone know of any product that will rid me of the 6 inches of soap suds floating in my fountain? BIG THANKS to anyone who can help me.

I really need some answers here. I have looked everywhere on the web and cannot find sh$# about them. I know they work like nothing I've ever seen b4. Yet there is no smell, no color, no nothing. They are even safe to use on dishes and clean better than bleach?!?!?!?! What the heck? Are they really packaged magic?

I like my place spotless and dedicate a lot of time to this end. I live in a loft, I have bamboo flooring which excludes me using regular polishes for sealed or hardwood floors. Also I've heard your not supposed to wet mop, or they warp.
Now I am on my hands and knees with a sponge and a bucket. But there has to be a better way, even the bucket and sponge doesn't get the shine I want...

We recently moved from a large home to a small one with no carpets & my current vacuum is too big.
I have a dust allergy & a dog (so sweeping isn't enough) & the pooch is staying if I have to sleep outside. lol.
I was thinking of the swiffer vacuum but I need a crevice tool for cleaning the sofa & corners.
Thanks! :)

They were used once or twice 40 years ago, and were in a closed cabinet ever since. Not out in the open or handled, yet seem dirty cloudy & yellow. Have been afraid to clean as don't want to ruin them. All insightful advice as to how to safely clean appreciated.

Some sort of spray, maybe, that you can just spray and flush?
(Lol @ my question).
If you've ever used something and think that it's worth trying, could you please tell me the brand and the name of the product?

Thanks very much!

We lost power for 5 hours one night. When we woke the next morning my self cleaning oven was in lock. It is an electric oven with a ceramic cook top. I think it is about 20 years old. The oven is operated by buttons and one dial to set temps and times. When the clean button is pressed, the oven locks. Then you set the time and duration at the oven does the rest. I ran it through the clean process, with the racks locked in, hoping that it would unlock when the process was finished. It did not. Any suggestions. I cannot find the book.
