If its [your dishwasher] buy some jet dry and put it in your dispensor in your dishwasher} If you do dishes by hand you could get limeaway
[wear rubber gloves} and take a good scrubber and hot water and give the glasses a good scrubbing..then make sure you wash and rinse them very good as you don`t want the limeaway to still be on them...Also you could use CLR both this and limeway and jet dry all can be bought at a large grocery store....Good Luck!

Either try soaking them in plain white vinegar, or use a commercially available product like Lime-Away or CLR. Unfortunately, many dishwashing detergents cause "pitting" in glass, silver, and aluminum, and little mineral deposits then build up in the tiny pits. Vinegar or the other products I mentioned will remove the mineral deposits and thus the film.

When I purchased my latest set of glasses, they gave me a bottle of some sort of cleaner that does the trick, usually. You may be able to go to a place that sells glasses (i.e., Walmart, etc) and see if they have such a cleaner. It'd be worth it, if it means you don't have to replace the glasses.

Mean Green. That stuff works wonders. spray it on and let it set for a while. Use some kind of a scrub brush, or a cup cleaner. Be sure to rinse it very good.

Try something like CLR or LimeAway. Be sure to wash them well and rinse with clean water and dry them with a clean towel afterwards.

i had the same thing happen. nothing these people have recommended has ever worked for me. i had to buy new drinking glasses. my mother-in-law has had that happen to her too for forever. it sucks but there isn't anything you can do short of washing them by hand.
