I have brand new oak hardwood floors,I use ZEP (sold at home depot) Hardwood & Laminite floor cleaner, I use it once a week it works great. Get a hardwood floor mop as well. Murphy's Oil will bring the shine back :)

I have two small kids, so I completely understand! I first tried orange glo, but what really works great, if you've got a large area to clean, like I do, is the Swiffer Wetjet system. Buy the cleaner that goes with it made specifically for hardwood floors. You can find this system at most large discount retailers, like Wal-Mart. Your floors will be nice and shiny for days after!

I feel your pain! I have been using OrangeGlo floor cleaner and used the refinisher once. The cleaner is nice because it has no smell and doesn't get sticky. Out of all the things I have tried, this one has been the best for me so far. Good luck!

The best thing is to have the floors refinished. Once they are refinished do not wear shoes on the floors this is what causes them to get dull over time.
