I have an older Kenmore dishwasher and I've noticed that it does not fill up with water. When I start it, a small amount of water runs into the tub and it starts it's cycle but there is very little water inside so it doesn't clean the dishes. If I pour extra water in the tub, it does a great job cleaning the dishes. I disconnected the water supply line and opened the valve and it seems there is a lot of water pressure but i've opened the dishwasher door as it is filling and it is only a trickle coming in. What would cause the dishwasher to not fill up with water?

Both front and back lawns have big dead patches. We stuck to the watering rules laid down by the city. Want to know what is the proper way to care for lawn before winter comes and to give it the best chance come spring time.

Hey there!!! I'm not from this country. My bathroom just broke, the toilet lever became apart... I bought a new replacement but I discovered that the hole for it it was too big because my toilet is too old!!! apparently, I need a piece that helps the new piece to fit on the hole. Do you know the name of this piece??? or, Do you know how I can fix my toilet??? or maybe a place where I can buy replacements??? thank you!!!

I bought a house to be rented out, and have finished all but the kitchen floor. I bought these peel and stick tiles as a cost efficient alternative to having someone come and lay lino. The current (very ugly) lino on the floor is in good condition save a few corners that are lifting. I don't know what is under this old lino, but am thinking of screwing the corners down (making sure the screws are flush) and then adhering these new tiles directly onto old lino. Should I be doing this, or removing the existing first??? Are these tiles going to lift?? The man at Home Depot said I should use this glue as wellt to stick them down, but glue is VERY thick, doesn't spread and there's a visible raise where I've put it (tested one). HELP!

I'm thinking that they are protesting the fact that they are still in pots and not in the ground. What do you think?

I have a little area near a privacy fence where I could plant them. This is TX, and it gets really hot. I could plant them with morning/aftnoon sun, or afternoon shade, or I could plant them where there is mostly shade. Opinions?

Thanks, y'all

Can anyone recommend a cleaning agent (UK only) to get rid of ground-in dirt stains. It's not for me, it's for someone else (honest).

I have secured all the fittings and checked for leaks, but the gas flow seems to be restricted. This line has a 3-way split to a kitchen stove, hot water heater, and clothes dryer. The pilots all stay lit, but when fired up, the flame is blue and yellow and sputters and will only burn at a low level.

I don't really know how to do it... I know that you need friction to make everything heat up but what can I use?

i have some paste finishing wax, i have my ancient archtop hollow body, i've got #0000 Steel wool, all the stuff people have said, but how do i apply the wax so i get a nice smooth finish that won't rub off or anything like that? It needs to be good becuase it is very expensive wood, don't bother to say "Take it too a luthier!" cause if i could i would i assure you ^_^.

Throughout my house I have good water pressure everywhere but my kitchen sink. It is so bad that the dishwasher will not fill properly so does not wash the dishes. What would cause only this faucet to have poor water pressure?

My mom said that she would give me money if I did work around the house. I'm too young to get a job so I guess I will do it this way.

Here are the jobs I'm already doing:

1. Vacuuming
2. Clean windows/door
3. Clean Poop Pans
4. Walk the Door

Anymore you can think of?? I'm trying to buy something so I need many jobs to do, it stinks but whatever.
