First, examine all clothes as you go through through them -
donate too small, too big, wrong color, or ugly to your local
non-profit.Throw away ragged ones.
1] buy shelf dividers for closet, shoe rack[s], and underbed storage bins.
2] hang all long items [ robes, gowns, at one end of closet ].
3] put all winter accessories at left end of closet shelf - hats, scarves, mittens/gloves, ski goggles.
Then stack bulky [ winter ] sweaters in next section.
Third section is for folded Tshirts.
Next is for handbags - file them like books so only end shows, by color or season.
4] put all winter shoes in rack left end of closet, progressing to everyday shoes, then athletic shoes, then summer ones.
'File' from back to front, putting dressier ones in back.
5] hang winter clothes - from left to right, by length [ I do it by color - ROYGBIV ]
a] dresses
b] pants/jeans [ hang belts near pants ]
c] jackets/blazers
d] skirts
e] blouses and button shirts
6] hang summer clothes reverse way - from right to left:
a' dresses
b] pants/capris [ hang belts near pants ]
c] jackets/blazers
d] skirts
e] blouses/button shirts
You will have a big clear space in middle of closet to arrange and search for shoes
7] Dresser:
a] put bras/panties in top drawer,
b] then socks, hose,tights, slips
c] exercise clothes/swimwear
d] pajamas/nightgowns
8] store extra tops/sweaters in underbed storage, or second dresser
NOW that you have organized everything, go thry and see what you are missing - a red cami, a blue handbag, a green belt; and keep a list or notebook in purse.

Closet first: You need to find a way that works for you, but I like have all my tanks tops together, then my short sleeves, then 3/4, then full length then sweaters then my dresses and skirts that need to be hung. Within that, I have all ym white tanks, then black tanks, then red tanks...etc. Some people like to keep outfits together, but I find that I mix-and-match my wardrobe too much for that.
As for the drawers, how many drawers do you have? How many clothes do you have? Separate it into the jeans-drawer, then the pj-drawer, etc. If you can't remember which is which, try labeling them for a while until you get used to it.

gray and black circulate with virtually each and every thing. you could placed on it with eco-friendly, crimson, crimson, yellow, eco-friendly and on occasion brown. Blue is is humorous and that's based upon the coloration. good success.
