I don't really know how to do it... I know that you need friction to make everything heat up but what can I use?

bow drill, flint/steel, magnifying glass, car battery there are so many ways, the requirements for fire are heat /oxygen/fuel get them and you got fire

Shape a piece of soft wood to the shape of a dome and in another piece make a similar shaped dent.
Run the softer wood between your palms and the friction will produce heat.
Have some straw, or very fine shaving at hand.

"Quest For Fire" is a movie you should see. SMILES...Rae Dawn Chong plays a "mean" cave girl.

Obviously Tom Hanks did it in "Castaway"; Flint works; Lightning might work as well.

Another suggestion; and pretty entertaining is the series of books "HATCHET"

you could use a magnifying glass and the sun or flint and steel or you could just flick your bic

a magnifying glass works pretty good take a while!! flint works good too!
