Hey there!!! I'm not from this country. My bathroom just broke, the toilet lever became apart... I bought a new replacement but I discovered that the hole for it it was too big because my toilet is too old!!! apparently, I need a piece that helps the new piece to fit on the hole. Do you know the name of this piece??? or, Do you know how I can fix my toilet??? or maybe a place where I can buy replacements??? thank you!!!

The part you are describing is called a bushing.

The easiest thing, is to measure the diameter of the hole and return where you purchased the toilet lever and ask if they have an adaptor or a different toilet lever.

If they say no, ask to be referred to a specialty shop. If everything fails, you nay need to make one yourself. I have made bushings out of Plexiglas, PVC pipe (I was fortunate that the dimensions fit), even epoxy glue. You want your bushing to be just slightly thinner than the thickness of the toilet at the hole so they don’t show.

Good Luck!

Compare the old part to the new one. It should not fit too tightly to allow movement. The large plastic nut on the inside of the tank is what holds it together. Otherwise.....

I'm not sure where you are but this is probably rather common in your area. Take a measurement of what you need and explain the situation to the hardware store. They should have an adapter.

elevate the porcelain hide from the back of the bathroom. Porcelain can injury, be careful the place you place it. The cope with which you push down directly to flush is linked to an arm that extends over the flapper and there that's linked by employing a team or a cord to the flapper, it is the hide that releases the water from the tank to the bowl. If this connection is disconnected, look on the thank you to reconnect it. you ought to ought to close the water off - on the close off valve - on the wall, under the bathroom. turn the valve to the main suitable. elevate the flapper by employing hand to enable the water go out the tank. you would be waiting to make sure the way it improve into linked. If that is broken, you ought to purchase a sparkling cope with, flapper or in simple terms the chain/cord, per what you discover needs to get replaced.
