Will using gentrol point source in my kitchen affect my fertility or harm my baby once I conceive? Will any of the other pesticides adversely affect my fertility or baby once I conceive?

In my house, there is a section of a water pipe that branches out of the main supply water pipe that's sticking out with a T connector and a 90 degree elbow forming an L-shape, about a foot long. And it goes no where and it is capped off with an endcap. It is a leftover from rerouting pluming pipes to go to a water softner first. This section is after the water softner. Due to its position on top of the main supply pipe, I don't think this will fill up with water. Could this work as an air chamber to suppress water hammer? Or is this something I should get rid of? Use a piece of pipe and two connectors to make a straight connection... Thanks!

I live in an old house, and the toilet is also quite old. I replaced the wax ring a couple of years ago. When my toilet sits idle and is not being flushed, I hear a dripping inside the drain pipe under the house. That doesn't sound like the wax ring to me. That sounds like some sort of crack on the underside of the toilet bowl where it holds water.

Or, do I have to use an acetylene torch? I'm not sure it's 4"; it may be a little bigger. I live in an older house, and it is the pipe that eventually goes underground from my toilet. It's at a bad angle under the toilet so I need to cut a piece out and join it back up to shorten it.

I live in Oregon and have heated with wood before, now I may have to resort to it again as I have to live on pennies on my retired fixed income and I'm sick. So why can't I just buy a do-able woodstove, get firewood which I know isn't cheap, but may be cheaper than the quadrupled nat. gas price and use wood heat. I haven't done it since 1988, so I need to be updated. I know there are burning reg. for air quality but I've been told locally in my city it isn't a problem. I know to buy wood is expensive but I can chop it down where I live. I'd like to know economic drawbacks etc. or benefits since I've been out of wood heat since 1988. I do have a place to put it,when I bought the house, they took the wood stove and their is a beautiful rock hearth and opening for the stove pipe chimney.

If you have, is it worth the time, energy and money?

The basement has those small push out windows with a wire hanging for a handle. I can't get them open for anything. They're like sealed shut with something.

The other windows I was able to stick a knife in it and push it out by loosening the dirt. Not these!

Some fresh air would be nice!

Can anyone send me a scanned copy of metal futon instructions? I have the most basic metal futon from Walmart, but I think you can get the same kind at Target or other stores.
