I have a fridge that I bought in 2002, it was working really good until I moved late last year. I notice that after a few hours after I pluged it in it is still no cold air is coming in but the freezer works fine. I have it check and he said he can't find something wrong with it, he said to unplugged it and let it thaw for 24 hrs. because there might be ice that is blocking the airflow, so I did and after that I t works fine again. After a few months it did it again no cold air coming in so I unplugged it again etc... I don't really know why this is happening it is a frost free fridge. Any advice please.....

This is for use indoors and I want to avoid having to sand between coats and other tiresome stuff. It also needs to incorporate a colour.

My hubby and I have VERY different styles when it comes to decor. We are very happy and have been married 12 years. We will be moving soon, and would like to sort of re-do our look to incorporate his minimalist taste with my eclectic nature. (Our look right now is no style at all, just some stuff we got over the years) I would like ACTUAL experience from couples who have managed to "marry" their styles, and how they did that. Please don't refer me to "Designing for the sexes" or websites with similar content, as we have a very limited budget, and just want to each show our style without a huge investment. Creativity is a plus!!

I have a set of end tables and a coffee table which have been painted and I would like to strip the paint and stain the wood. If I use some type of gel paint stripper, will this also remove the shiny finish of the tables which was painted over? My hope is to remove all finish and to stain the tables... Is this possible just by using a stripping gel?

i ahve an outside condensening unit that seems to be putting out a lot of water through the black hose. More than normal. It is a regular puddle of water. I dug a hole around it and it fills up the hole. About a foot of water. What could be the problem?

there is a tree in my backyard that was ripped up pretty good and the bark was taken. I believe it was a raccoon or a opossum. Anyone have a better idea? This is the suburbs of Michigan.

and if you do know what one it might be what is a good, humane, way to rid the backyard of such a pest.

Thanks

I'm looking for some type of new flooring in my home. right now it is all carpet and needs an update. Should I go with new carpet? or tile? or wood? Is one easier to keep new looking than the other? There are five adults living in the home but we have friends with children visit often.

Well it's summer time and it's getting pretty warm. My mom and I just moved into a house that only has 2 windows that open. We have a ceiling fan and 2 regular fans. Any tips for keeping the house cool? I read a while ago not to open windows, any tips like that would be great.

It's a small bathroom floor that I want to tile. We had to rip out the existing carpet when we recently had a leak, and I do not want carpet in there again. But, it looks like the former owners glued the carpet down. The floor is rather "bumpy" from the glue lines that are on it. Otherwise, it's a concrete floor. I don't know how to prepare the floor for laying tile, which is what I would like to do to the floor to finish it.

I used it yesterday to grill peaches. Now all the burnt parts are stuck on. I tried scrubbing with the green scrubby part of a sponge, used hot water, baking soda, coarse sea salt, I feel like I've tried everything. How can I get this thing clean?

My closet is pink. I don't want to re-paint the whole thing. But I am bored and wanted to paint it. And cause I have a lot of paint cans in my basement. What do you think I could do with it? Like splatter paint or what?

Any ideas will help.

The bucket was in the garage of a man who used to work for the railroad in the 1940's. It is galvanized and very old. I was going to use it as a planter until I saw the stamping on it. Just curious if anyone knows about it.

Ok. These birds built their nests right in front of my duplex, and every time I come out the front door, 2-3 barn swallows (i think) come swooping down at me, chirping and dive bombing me almost from every effing direction. I usually have to make a mad dash to my car or take cover when walking to check the mail. It's getting ridiculous!!! One hit me in the head today, so I'm making a full out attempt to get rid of the seemingly cute birds that are really the spawn of satan. What can I do to get rid of or possibly even kill these damned things? It can't be illegal either. I would poison them (and I still may) but a lot of my neighbors have dogs and i don't want to end up killing one because it got hungry. That would probably be illegal in that case. Anyway... please help!

I got a bunch of dried beans from my kitchecn and planted them in this 6 compartment pot. I know all the plants in one compartment are the same but each compartment has a different bean plant. I forgot which bean plant is in which compartment. Is there any way to tell? They look all the same. I know which one is soybean and which one is garbanzo bean but I don't knwo the others. The remaining beans are Kentucky Pole beans, Pinto beans, white kidney beans and according to the package Tendergreen Improved Garden beans. Is there ant way to tell the 4 plants apart?
