i ahve an outside condensening unit that seems to be putting out a lot of water through the black hose. More than normal. It is a regular puddle of water. I dug a hole around it and it fills up the hole. About a foot of water. What could be the problem?

Is your community experiencing high humidity? If so, most likely this is the source of moisture and gives indication your AC unit is working as it should be doing. The evaporator coil of your AC unit is condensing moisture from the air and draining it to the outside.
