i like the ideas of stripes/circles/splatter/alternating stripes/ ...so i'll add my own.... faux finishing. U can do the stripes & in the NEW stripes do a sponging so that would give it a punch along w/ the stripes. OR u can do that w/ the circles of different sizes... U could even use glow in the dark paint that u can purchase at craft stores & add it to some of the stripes or circles or splatter so u can get some glow when u turn off the lights... :D
Be creative! don't b afraid to try ideas. I'm curious to know what left over colors u have. Have fun

Lola,
I would sponge paint with white or off white. That would cover the pink walls without drama and quickly give your closet a new look. Then you can visit the Container Store, Target or Home Depot and buy all those organizers you have thinking about, but never had an empty closet to design.

hmm, i'm thinking a closet shouldn't have a busy pattern inside. it would detract from the clothing and be distracting. Why not just repaint it white or an off-whitish color?
if you want to keep some pink, you could do stripes. tape off with blue painter's tape or draw some wavy lines and paint inside the lines. definitely stick with light colors though. closets should be bright.

I Would paint my closet the same color as the room it's in. Or I would consider painting it white to reflect light and make the inside of the closet brighter. It would make it much easier to see the contents.

I'd do something with a color you really like. I think you might get quickly tired of the splatter paint effect.

As long as you never make clothing choices while standing in your closet, here's an idea. How about alternating thick and thin vertical stripes of many different colors? Then you can jazz up any shelves with solid colors.

Why not gentle, sky-ish blue, black, and white stripes? Make the partitions a sky-ish, gentle, cool blue and then do white and black pinstripes. I did something like that for my room and it seems surprising. :D
