i ahve an outside condensening unit that seems to be putting out a lot of water through the black hose. More than normal. It is a regular puddle of water. I dug a hole around it and it fills up the hole. About a foot of water. What could be the problem?

Outdoor condensing units do don't produce condensation in cooling mode. They put off heat. The indoor (Cold) coils produce condensation. Are you talking about a package unit?
