I deliver newspapers to this brand new house where a concrete driveway was just poured. After the driveway was poured, the people were blocking the approach with numourus things like the city garbage cart, a weber grill, their cars, and a couple of plastic adrorondak chairs the first week. Recently i seen a sign on their front lawn that said please return the 4 plastic lawn chairs. Dont these people have common sense of where they place their belongings? When things are at the end of the driveway its considered free, or trash. Same thing happened in my city when someone parked their utility trailer on the curb. I dont feel sorry for these people. Its their stupitdity thats at fault.

I have seen torches connected to the outside of decks before, but I am not sure how to secure it tightly to the outside. What kind of clamp or strap is used to keep it upright, even in heavy winds?

I live in Jacksonville FL, and my central air sucks. I have vaulted ceilings and have no clue why my living room is so hot. I recently bought a portable AC unit just for my living room because it can heat up in the room to 87 degrees sometimes. So I am just looking for some suggestions on how to keep the heat out and the coolness in. I have a ceiling fan, so any suggestions please I need some relief. Thanks all.....

the tile in my bathroom is a kind of icky yellow (can't change it--renting) and I was wondering what the heck kind of colour would go well with this (for the shower curtain, bathmat etc.). I'm leaning towards blues--sort of a medium vibrant blue. Any of you decor-savvy people out there have tips? I want the bathroom to have a sort of fresh, tranquil feel to it. I already have a daisy-shaped bathmat, shaped like a blue daisy with a yellow centre.

My dad is building me a '70 chevy truck and he wants to paint it yellow. I think that yellow is way too overused and I want to paint it black with a pink stripe going across the sides. Not only that, but yellow is a very masculine color, and I want my truck to look feminine. Any color scheme ideas so I could meet in the middle with him?

We are purchasing an oversized print and will frame it eventually (it is humongous and would probably cost between $150-$200 to frame). Any ideas on how we can hang it in the meantime without thumbtacks so that it looks nice? Thanks in advance!

I'm a new gardener, and today I noticed little black bugs are eating the leaves in all my plants! They are little tiny black bugs, I found 14 of them on one eggplant leaf, and there are a whole bunch of holes in all the leaves. Is there an all purpose insect killer that I can put on all my plants? I have eggplant, cucumbers, tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, squash, corn and canteloupe planted. Please help! I put so much love and WORK into this garden, and hate to see it eaten alive!!
