At the garden center get a owl decoy.They are made to scare rabbits and squirrels from the garden safely without harming them...

Maybe it's not squirrels. I have a large garden, and a LOT of squirrels in the neighborhood. I have NEVER had a problem with eaten plants. I can watch the squirrels run through my yard.

You can also sprinkle moth balls around the out side of the garden. It will keep squirrels and rabbits out. you could also use the flake form, but after a rain you would hav eto redo.

the only thing i know what works is : get some hot crushed pepper ,cook in hot water , let sit for a while ,so it get's stronger. then pour it into a spray can, but filterd . Spray around the base of your plants and the squirrels won't touch them , It's to hot for them. respray every couple of days and after rain.
It works for me

I have a natural repellent...three little dogs. I have seen repellents at Lowe's for almost anything - squirrels, deer, gophers, etc. I can't say if they work or not, but it might be worth a try.

You will spend much time and effort with sprays and repellents for very little return. The ONLY positive solution is to shoot them. Alternatively you can trap them, but extermination is the answer.

get yourself a plastic garden owl and some plastic snakes that are real looking . also sprinkle cayenne pepper .

or make a tea from hot peppers (like sun tea) do not cook or boil , just steep peppers in water .
