My dad is building me a '70 chevy truck and he wants to paint it yellow. I think that yellow is way too overused and I want to paint it black with a pink stripe going across the sides. Not only that, but yellow is a very masculine color, and I want my truck to look feminine. Any color scheme ideas so I could meet in the middle with him?

How about a nice metallic chocolate brown with aqua stripes - feminine but not so "girly" as the pink.

Yellow is a masculine color? And is way overused? But not black???
Paint it black, with a couple of stripes - like red-yellow-blue.
Or dark [ cobalt ] with baby blue stripe.
Or magenta.
Or emerald green.

i think black with a pink stripe would be prettier, but if you want to let your dad have some say then maybe black with a yellow stripe
