I deliver newspapers to this brand new house where a concrete driveway was just poured. After the driveway was poured, the people were blocking the approach with numourus things like the city garbage cart, a weber grill, their cars, and a couple of plastic adrorondak chairs the first week. Recently i seen a sign on their front lawn that said please return the 4 plastic lawn chairs. Dont these people have common sense of where they place their belongings? When things are at the end of the driveway its considered free, or trash. Same thing happened in my city when someone parked their utility trailer on the curb. I dont feel sorry for these people. Its their stupitdity thats at fault.

I am sure they have learned their lesson about trusting the people around them. If the same thing happens AGAIN, you might be able to consider them stupid.

I trust people too. I had a yard sale, and when it was over I put up a sign Free Today. To keep things clean, I put the stuff up on boards and tables. While I was away for a short while, someone came along, put the stuff from the fold up card table on the ground and took the table. Guess I won't do that again.

Plastic chairs are one thing, a utility trailer is another. If I see something at the curb, I always ask before removing. Could be there due to a fire or other emergency. Some people are just thieves, no one elses stupidity is involved.
