I am moving in about 1 1/2 weeks. I have been packing a lot but I could pack a lot more. My house is messy. Would it be easier to clean first or to pack first?? Thanks!

I've tried SHOUT and several other leading stain removers. Nothing is working well at all. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm a bit reluctant to try hair spray (which I've found as a solution elsewhere). Thanks!!!

I have a metal structure outside that I want to take the rust off of. I'm planning on using my dremel tool, but don't know quite what to use? Wire brushes? Brass, or steel? Thanks!

I have a 60+-year-old kids size wooden sailboat my grandfather made and it's been handed down.

The paint work is all cracked and looking its age. I bought some paint stripper today but never used it before - ANY HINTS?

I want to strip it back and maybe varnish it with wood stain or something. Would that be ok in the water?

Also the sail needs replacing - what type of material would be best?

I have a mysterious bush in my yard that has a deep root system and to kill it. It gets little red flowers in the spring and has long thorns on some of the branches. I don't know what it is called but it will not die . I've cut on it, covered it with landscaping material that blocks out the sun. I'm trying to dig it up but it's roots are really deep. I've already dug a couple of feet on one side of it and still have not reached the bottom of it. It sends up shoots that are several feet away from the mother plant.. It's a monster....I think it is laughing at my efforts.. please help :)

We just bought a house that was built in the 1800's. It has beautiful woodwork throughout that I absolutely love. My problem is someone painted some of it white. I have 1 door and two doorways that I would like to remove the paint from. What is the best way to do this? Any certain chemicals or brands that I should use? If it helps the areas are the kitchen and bathroom.

I'm near my wits' end trying to find a fridge to fit into a space 81cm high and 51 cm wide. It looks like a space about the size of a fridge, but fridges just don't seem to come that short (apart from tiny beer fridges). Any bright ideas where I might find one apart from comet, dixons, homebase, kelkoo, pricerunner, argos, tesco...

All say 'now' is the time to put on the fertilizer and weed killer.(28-3-3 is what I bought) But now I am being told that 'if' this application gets into the beds where I have already planted impatients and tomatoe plants or where i have existing shrubs/azaleas etc.. that it will 'kill' these too. I don't understand..when i spot use weed killer..it specifically says it won't 'kill the grass' as this granular stuff says too...point is..i expect my lawn to turn brown in places because of the weed killer but hopefully the grass will fill it in eventually (right?) ..i don't intend to purposely put this application 'into' the beds..but even with the spreader having the option for me to turn off one side..still i can't be so careful..some is going to get into the beds/plus what about around the trees?(when I had services in the past..i can't believe that they didn't get any into any of these areas..so what to do? HELP..TODAY is when i want my hubby to apply all this.
