If you are looking for something to kill weeds try plain old table salt. This works well in sidewalk cracks. Just apply heavily and wet it to it goes to the roots. I did it last year and my walk still has little grass growing.

It depends on what you require!
Roundup is usually one of the best because it kills everything it touches --- including plants!
It is also non-residual which means that once it reches the soil it is dormant!
There are others such as "Path Clear" which ARE residual and therefore will keep on working even after they have contacted soil or gravel etc.
The thing to remember with this type is not to apply it on a slope if there are plants further down the slope that you want to keep because it will work it's way down!
Hope this helps!

The active ingredient in Roundup, also sold in my country as Zero is glyphosate. I'm reading the label and it says present as isopropylamine salt.
Check you local garden centre, hardware store etc and buy it neat, for mixing in your own sprayer. You can use empty kitchen cleaner spray bottles for small area spot weeding.
This is the most economical way of doing it. Buying it "ready mixed" is expensive.

Ortho Weed Be Gone concentrate. You can buy a bottle at Home Depot for about $8.00. Makes many gallons.

If you are looking for a weed killer that will stop re-growth for up to a year, Turf King is an excellent concentrated herbicide.
Turf king will kill all vegetation you spray it on.
Otherwise glyphosate will do fine.
