The hot tub leaks until the water reaches the bottom of the flap(?) at the top of the tub. Also, the water didn't seem to heat up (we had it on for just over an hour).

I am trying to run electricity out to my storage sheds by piggy backing off the cable companies ditch they're about to dig. Can I use the same ditch? Will it require conduit pipe? I live in Virginia, what do I need to do this?

At Home Depot, they only have special elbows at around 22 degrees. I appreciate any help, and if you need any more info, please ask as I'm really interested in finding out how this is done.

I know this sounds kind of weird, but I wonder how you wash your bras. Washing them in the machine makes them lose their form. While washing them myself I try to be very careful not to squeeze them very tightly, then I feel they're not clean enough. Especially washing those fine fabric ones or lacy ones is quite a task for me! How do you wash them?

Redoing an older mobile home. Pulled up carpet in hallway and found a hole in the floor near the front door. Should I put new sheeting down over the whole living area or just try and put in new wood where the hole is?

I have a mouse in my house. I have been advised that poison is the most effective means of getting rid of the mouse. I am concerned that using poison, the mouse will go off and die somewhere hard to reach and I will then have the problem of a bad smell as it decomposes. Any advice on how to deal with a nuisance rodent would be appreciated.

Anybody have any thoughts on how to keep the mice OUT of the house? With the nights getting cooler, we have increased mouse activity in the house. We don't have any other way in other than the kitchen door to the patio - which is the one we use exclusively. (We have detached garage.) Hubby had the door open for about 5 minutes last night bringing in some carpet - and I actually saw 1 of them run across the family room floor in the basement this morning. I've already set a couple of traps (but any dead mice will have to stay there until hubby gets home to dispose of them). We live in a clean neighborhood and a clean home; however being a farming community, the field mice are all over the place. As much as I hate having mice in the house, trapping them gets them out ... I need help on not letting them get in in the first place!! Any thoughts? I'm opposed to outdoor cats; hubby is allergic to cats, so can't have one in the house.

I am thinking of living aboard a boat in the near future, however I would like to try it first for about a year before I buy one. Is there a place where can I find classifieds that would list boat rentals so I can rent for about a year?
