Mostly use just plain warm water and mop. If the floor is really dirty add a drop or two of dish washing liquid and a drop or two of vinegar. Mop the floor changing the water frequently - a clean mop and clean water are important. Then go over the damp floor with dry towels. That's all there is to it!

I hope this helps.

The WORKS is good, but if you want the strongest cleaner you can get, try X-14 sold at most grocery stores. Use in a well ventilated area, fumes are strong, but it does get the job done.

I use 1/4 cup of clear ammonia in a bucket of warm water, add 1 drop of dish soap. Not only do my floors dry with out streaks, they grout also stays clean. Do not use hot water with ammonia - it makes the fumes too strong.
