I'm looking to cover this table so the fabric is almost touching the ground.

I also need to know the yardage for trim on the table. Around the top which would be the 8' X 30" part.

You would need two metres or two yards of material. If these are inches you are quoting.

If you are quoting feet and inches then add the 30 x 29 and you will have 10 yards x 9.666 but you want extra so you will have to add another quarter of a yard that will leave 1inch for hemming

So 10 and a quarter x 10 and a quarter should do it.

Depending on the leanth of material as to how you will join it in the middle.
That would be right if the legs wern't any longer than the 8'

Depends on how wide the fabric is..... and how much of a over hang you want....depends on the shape of the table... I am not sure what your third measurement is for.... my best guess using 45" wide fabric would be... 6-8 yards and you will have extra.

What you should do it got walmart or Joanns and buy $1 fabric from the cheap pile. Make a muslim- your pattern out of the cheap fabric. This will not only give you the proper amount of yardage but will help you to sew a perfect final table cloth.

Let me make sure I've got this right. You have a table that's 8 foot long, 30 inches wide and 29 inches tall? If that's what it is and you want to cover it as well as most of the sides & I did my figures correctly, you need 8.66 yards of fabric that is 45 inches wide. You'll need to cut the fabric in half (2 pieces that are 13 feet long) and you'll have to have a seam down the middle of the table. You may be able to find fabric that's the 90 inches wide you need to not have a center seam, but it may be a challenge. Good luck!

You will need 6.324 yards of fabric if that fabric is non shrinkable. Other wise you will need 8.563 yards.
