How can I get my new steam iron smelling like my old one..?

I enjoy ironing so I recently bought a new steam generated iron for my home... It's' wonderful in every way except the steam lacks that magical scent my old iron seems to have. Any tips on how to change the smell of the steam...?

what are some godd ways to irrigate a hay feild in the summer?

our cows have no grass and our hay feild is so dry we cant kepp them in there so i need some serious answers not annoying stupid ones people put just for the points

Toilet has water running continuously into the bowl?

All day and all night there is water running into the toilet, I can’t get it to stop what can I do? The water runs in form the middle in the back of the bowl. I lifted the lid, but everything looks fine. Any suggestions?

i take great pride in my thick,luscious, lawn,but?

was just out on it and noticed slugs crawling all over on top of grass.at least 3-4 per square ft. never saw anything like it before???????? will slugs harm the lawn,my pride + joy ???? lol..if so,what do i do,too dark to spray now..can someone give me advice on whats going on and what to do?????

what causes a freshly painted wall to peel when dry.(.latex indoor paint by glidden)?

i took the masking tape off very carefully and the paint peeled right off with it.......in fact, i can peel the whole wall

Painting to cover smoke smell?

We bought this house a few months ago and the guy had smoked in it. He replaced all the carpet throughout the home and repainted several of the walls. We paid to have a guy come in and clean out our AC unit and we cleaned the air vents and just about every other thing you can think of. Now we can still smell the smoke when we are walking around in certain areas, and I have a strong feeling it's coming from the walls... maybe he didn't use a base coat like KILZ and now the odor is seeping through? I'm not sure. Any suggestions? I really don't want this smell to get into our carpet, and if we wait too long, I'm scared it's going to do that!

Is there any way after painting a room with semi-gloss paint to tone it down to look more flat?

I painted my kitchen with a semi gloss paint and I don't like the shine in it,I was wondering if there's something you can put on it without having to repaint with a flat paint.

i need help!?

See I like to mow lawns but for one lawn which is my grandfather's.i can't make it look nice because when i do my cousin though and screws it up. what she doses is ride that stupid fourwheeler around mess up lines.and now she is making a track though out the whole lawn and my grandfather doses not care but i do obseesed over it. i know i sound like a baby but i like to have my lawns look nice and i only have two.

where can I find decorative braid?

I purchased trimming braid from a Company called Home -Sew. I used the 25 yds I ordered and ran out. I need about another 5-10 yds. I found the braid at JoAnn fabrics, but it is over $2.00 a yd.
I recieved Home-Sew's catalog and it looks like they no longer carry it. Does anyone know where I can purchase decorative braid at reasonable price?

what is the ideal soil mixture for a jade plant?

I bought some Cactus mix (Shultz's) from the store and have found that it is very hard to get the water to soak in once it dries. I know the soil is supposed to be well draining, but soil that won't even soak any water up can't be the right type. Why does it do this and what should I mix with it or use instead?

i need to remove the rubber backing of carpet from a wood floor. I don't want to sand the floor.?

the wood floor is in good condtion. has anyone used a liquid remover of soffenter of some kind. My father in-law has had a rug laid there for awhile and the rubber backing is stuck.
