I enjoy ironing so I recently bought a new steam generated iron for my home... It's' wonderful in every way except the steam lacks that magical scent my old iron seems to have. Any tips on how to change the smell of the steam...?

I know what you mean..! I also love ironing - my mother used to iron everything and she had this great way of making the steam smell great... I use lavender oil in the water and let me tell you, you will be very pleased... I think that magical steam will have you hot again in no time, Enjoy...!

I agree, use distilled water. I have no idea what that "magical scent" that your old iron had. You might just never be able to recreate it.

scent???? you can put a drop of perfume in the steam water , other than that i cant imagine what you mean.
