My peach tree is 4 years old and had a very good crop. Because of excessive fruit, one of the big branches bent too much and broke half way from the main trunk. Can I save it by tying or something else?

I am considering replacing the existing bare bulb light fixture in my office with a ceiling fan. I do not have access to the attic, nor are there any crawl spaces. The existing fixture is a simple incandescent light bulb. Do I need to fish any more electrical wires through? Are there ways to anchor the fan in without tearing up my ceiling?

something is eating the leafs in my garden. I thought it was ants, because I do see a lot of black ants, but I can't see anything really on the plant and eating it. The cucumber plant has barely any leafs left on it and my pumkin plant is getting just as bad. Does anyone have any advice on what I can use to rid my vegetable garden of pests? HELP!

Our ceiling fan had a lightbulb break clean off. I mean there is *no* glass left- just the screwbulb base. I can't get around it with pliers. How else might I get the base out of the socket?

It's amazing how much clutter you can accumulate over time, letters, photos, nicknacks, foreign currency. They end up taking up too much space, but it's hard to throw them away.

I purchased healthy Azalea Encores and they remained beautiful. Then I noticed that some of the tips on the leaves are turning brown. Now, more and more leaves are doing that. There are still healthy green leaves, and I have been watering them regularly. I can not seem to find any diseases which give this symptom. Also, they have not bloomed nor do they have any buds on them. Being encores they should bloom atleast twice a year. I live in the south and have alot of clay in the soil.

Every spring/summer I get an infestation of very tiny gray spiders. They are always on the ceiling in my home. I am looking for a natural way to get rid of them as I don't want to use pesticides in my home. I live in Minnesota and have never experienced this problem in any other state. I need to use something non toxic to both people and pets. I have been using an oreck bug vac but would like an alternate solution.

I have built a retaining wall in my yard. I have a cluster of 3 and 1 single oak tree that will be falling inside the retaining area. I would like to keep the trees, but I am afraid I will kill them by burying them with the fill dirt. The deepest one will be buried about 2 1/2 foot.

what do you do? Anything at all... Recycle? Buy recycled? Put a filled gallon jug in your old style toilet tank? Re-use plastic bags?
Some of the things you do that actually help the environment in the long run are used as money saving measures... Have any ideas the average busy person can do to help a little everyday?

I'm trying to figure out why my propane refridgerator is not functioning. It was unused for 18 months. (worked before that) The propane burner is functioning well with blue flame and the unit is level but there seems to be a problem with the ammonia system (or thermostat?). There is a periodic gurgling sound but no cooling happening.
Any tips?
