I'm not on the pill and I am sexually active. My last period was a week and a half before the breakthrough bleeding. I double counted the days and my period is always at the same time each month. The breakthrough bleeding was quite heavy and only lasted 2 days. Any ideas what could've caused this?

Ok so I have irregular periods and so I'm thinking of getting on the shot. However, I will not take the pills because I NEVER remember to take pills. Therefore i want to get the shot instead. If you've been on the shot, can you tell me your experiences? I've heard that they make you lose weight, yet others say it makes you gain weight? Can someone tell me what happened to them? What side effects did you get? Do you recommend it?

Yes, I was as relaxed as possible.
No, the doctor didn't have any answers, even though he had to STOP in the middle of the exam because I almost passed out from the pain.
I was seeing a family doctor...could it be that? Do I need to be seeing a gynecologist instead?

And if that's what it's going to feel like having sex, FORGET ABOUT IT.

I am wondering...
i have been on the depo for 6 months now.. My last shot was Aug. 30 and I was due 2 weeks ago now.. I have have some spotting/bleeding the entire time i was on it.
Now starting earlier this week it seems like i have my full period already!
If this is the case am is it possible for me to get preg right away? I know ive heard stories that it can take 6 months to 2 years... anyone out there that got preg right after their missed shot??
I never really had any side effects/symptoms from the shot other than the irregular bleeding..
Help.. I'm TTC, and dont want it to take forever!!

me and my boyfriend had some amazing sex last night without a condom (ive been on birthcontrol and he never acctually went so thats not the problem) but it went on for like at least 2 hours but now my vagina really hurts on the outside. it feels like a needles going through the skin. im guessing its because for a while we didnt bother lubbing it up enough and it was kinda hard to get it in. but anyways...is there anything i can do to make the sorness go away? and acctually...we had butt sex for the 1st time too and thats really sore as well..any remedies for that? I have had sex 3 times in my life, first time in Nov 2006 and then 2 times, a year later, in Nov 2007.It was very painful the first time, but I did not bleed then.The 2nd and 3rd time, it was again painful, but not as much as first time and took my boyfriend less time to penetrate.The problem is that I will be getting married in Dec 2009 to a guy who would never accept that I have had sex before my marriage.If i dont masturbate or have any sex now, ever again, for coming two years, till my marriage, will my husband know on the wedding night that i'm not a virgin? I've asked questions about this a few times....sorry....
but this is a NEW question.....

I've been having lots of cramping...just like period cramps (I get BAD cramps) and now I'm bleeding normal period colour.....about a tablespoon or 2 yesterday....it seems to be getting heavier I'm pretty sure I'm miscarrying....

but the Question....

If I start heavy bleeding.....I have no sick day left at work and if I leave I will get fired. So what can I do? Lose my job?....
Even with a doctors note they will fire me....

Just asking as I gave my other friend some advice on this, but I could see she is not satisfied with how I did it.

Ok, I know the obvious answer is they can just thrw these away and not have to worry about washing them. This doc I saw had to what must have been sized to an xtra small size paper gown. It didn't even close at all.
Do you think if I brought my own gown and sheet in, that there would be a problem? I would feel a LOT less embarrased

im never gona have kids man, and i cant be stuffed with these mood swings, PMS and period pain and being errr just miserable. im really not a fan of children i cant stand them and trust me i aint gona change my mind, i just dont want my periods and all this crap no more lol i dont need my womb i might even be skinnier if i didnt have it lol what can i do????
