i just wanted to apologize for all the idiots that gave you such smart a** answers. this is a legitimate question. its so easy to ridicule someone on line as opposed to their face. and no, a tampon will not break the hymen unless used improperly. when the hymen breaks you will most definitely be aware of it.
just remember that people usually put other people down to make themselves feel better about how lousy they are

Now that's a word I've never heard before. Even when I correct your spelling.

"Disvirgined"? Original. Dumb, but original.

No, it doesn't happen that way. Being a virgin is not determined by a physical change to the body unless that change was caused by a ***** (and we all know what I'm talking about).

The only way I've ever heard of being 'devirginized' was by having sex....so unless the girl is having sex with the tampon, I think she'll be alright.

No, that is just used by mother's when they don't like the image of their daughter doing that sort of thing. I am not a mother, but it would be sort discomforting to think that my 11-13 year old daughter is using tampons. I used tampons even though my mother told me not to. No harm done.

If used roughly and inserted too far, the hymen can be broken. But the girl, if a virgin before, is still a virgin. Virginity is lost though consensual sex.

If there's trauma - such as riding a horse while having a tampon in - then your hymen may break, but you're a virgin until you have sex with a man.

No. A woman loses her virginity when she has sex, same as a man.
