i am almost 16 and i don't have my period yet, i think i should see a doctor. what will the doctor do or ask? i have been through puberty or am going through it and have developed breasts and such, thats why i am wondering why i dont have my period.

He has had two tests and no sperm. I am 31 and would like to stop taking the pill. Has anyone ever had any problems once they stopped taking the pill. I have taken them since I was 18 and it only took us 3 weeks to concieve our daughter once I quit taking the pill 3 years ago so I don't really know what to expect since I really have never been off of them.(except for being pregnant). thx for any advice.

i haveforgoten the name, but i had my first jab last month.
Now the problem is after i urinate i feel a burning pain followed by drops of blood.
Could it be the contraceptive injection causing this? Somebody help.

Is it possible to request a female gyno rather than a male one? Are clinics required to honor that request? How would I go about asking for female doctor?
I don't know why but the thought of a male gyno make me uncomfortable.

so i was talking to my friend on the phone and she was asking me questions about urine. she has apparently been expierencing a weird tingly sensation right when she is almost finished urinating. she said her pee is a little cloudyish looking and it has a bad odor. i asked her if it smelled fishy or what it smelled like and she said its not fishy at all its just a weird smell like an old persons urine but i dont know what old person urine smells like. i dont know what to tel her except go to the doctor and she cant get an appt there till next week sometime because they are full. does anyone know what i can tell this chick or have any advice on what to do tills he gets to the doctor? im clueless on what else to tell her but i would like to help her out. thanks

I have 2 questions I suppose........
Every month or so since April, I've had to go to the emergency room in the middle of the night or early morning because of a severe pain I get in my lower pelvic region, rendering me almost unable to walk. I have no history or symptoms of STD's, have one parter, and have been treated for any STD's upon every visit to the emergency room just as a precaution. When I go to the ER the same Dr, tells me its pelvic inflammatory disease. My family doctor says it is not, and that is more likely cysts that keep rupturing. No one can give me a straight answer and it is wreaking havoc on my life. Anyone know what this could be???

The second part of my question is this....Monday morning I had another supposed "cyst rupture" and I went to my Dr. Tuesday and he prescribed 100 mg of Darvocet and 550 mg of Naproxen (x2 pills per dose) to help with the pain. Now ever since early wednesday morning i've had nonstop diarrhea, nonstop stomachache. Help me?!

is it possibe for a docter to tell the parent the results of her 18 yr old daughter's pap smear and to let the her (the mom) in the room (not asking the daughter if she wanted her in or not) when it is being done, or is it against the law or something if he/ her (docter) allows the mom to attend while the daughter dose not want her (mom) to attend or to hear the resaults.

I'm getting a pap smear done tomorrow. I'm totally doctor phobic and start freaking out and have panic attacks. I haven't had a pap done in over 3 years and my dr is telling me I need to get one done in order to get more BC pills. Is it weird to want my husband in the room with me?? I just feel so uncomfortable and freaked out being in a doctor's office, let alone having a man dr examine my crotch region!!! LOL!! I just told my husband that he has to come in with me. Has anyone else ever done this?? I don't want everyone to think I'm nuts, I just freak out about dr's. Plus, I've never had a male dr doing my pap smear, so it'll be even more uncomfortable for me.

I kinda brain farted while I was taking my pill tonight. I took one right on time, walked out of the room and said "oops i forgot to take my pill." I went back and moronically took another one. I'm on orthotricyclin lo... today was the last pill of week 2 and I took that along with the first pill of week three. Am I ok? What will happen?

my younger sister is 17 n has been getting cysts in her breasts. doctors say this can happen when going through puberty. her doctor put her on medication to get ride of them but they keep returning n r painful n hot. they r noticeable when u see her breast there is a bump where the cysts r. im really concerned theres no breast cancer in my family n her being so young scares me. has n e 1 experienced this.

i am 18 yrs old, and i have noticed that my breast is itching . my bust is not big at all. my right breast is more itchy than the left one, so today when i checked i saw this small verry light red near my right nipple, it doesnt hurt or anything.. when i pressed on my breast i didnt find a lump or any bump.. just the top of my righht nipple a little red.. can this be juss from the itching or some serious sign like cancer :(
im so afraid no one in my fam has breast cancer. i hope its not that . i am not sexually active plz help

So... I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant. Haven't taken any tests yet, and I want to doubt it more than anything in the world- I'm just a kid in college, I'm not ready to have a baby- but It's been 3 weeks and I've been getting symptoms such as feeling dizzy/faint, tender breasts, etc. Scared to take a test because I know it will be positive and it's just one of those images that stays in your head forever... that damn plus sign!
Anyways, in my searchings for abortion information I thought I found something on Merivale st. (in Nepean, near where I live) and surprisingly, the internet doesn't really tell me about where to find these clinics. I found a good one located in Toronto but is it in Ottawa too? It just won't say! lol oh well. So yeah.. if anyone knows about like, women's clinics or women's health care places somewhere in Nepean (I swear it was on Merivale, which would be helpful) please let me know, thanks so much in advance.

Hello, I am 17 years old and i have a severe iron deficiency and my doctor said that i needed to have a colonoscopy and and endoscopy!! I am really worried about the tests i don't know what to expect!

Will it Hurt?
Are there any needles involved?(i hate needles)
Will i be able to know my results the same day?
Do they take blood samples the day of the procedure?

Thanks for all of your help? I am really scared about this.....I don't want to do it?
Both of my tests will be done on the same day! I am so scared i have made myself sick thinking about it??
