i haveforgoten the name, but i had my first jab last month.
Now the problem is after i urinate i feel a burning pain followed by drops of blood.
Could it be the contraceptive injection causing this? Somebody help.

Ugh, its called depo provera, which I lovingly call poison.

It may be the shot. Lots of women suffer horrible side affects and health issues because of it.

You should never forget the contraceptive you use, and you should always research it before getting it administered to you.

It could be an infection not related to the injection. But often it is break through bleeding. It takes your body a couple of months to adjust to the new hormones. If it happens again go and see the dr.

You sure pushed a button with me, I have a friend who has done this for 5 yrs. She is now experiencing things which I will not elaborate to you as you just started. KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK what makes anyone shape or form think that the female reproductive process does not include the natural procedure of a period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is called Depo and you need to go see your GYN. No, I don't think it is the contraceptive. But it could be a UTI or a bladder infection.
