I have been taking ortho tricyclen lo for 3 months now. according to the scales my weight has not budged at all, but my pants are definitely fitting tighter. has anyone else experienced this? can the pill cause a redistribution of fat which would explain my hips/thighs getting bigger, but me not gaining any weight?

i was supposed to have some sexual fun tonight =)
i've been looking forward to it ALL week.
then i got my period 2 weeks early...
but the weird thing is-i only bled one good time.
that was like and hour and a half ago.
nothing has bleed since then...?
so is it my period? or sumthing else?

can i still carry out with my plans?

I have been on birth control for about 4 months now, but have been on different ones. The first two months, I was taking a chewable kind (I couldn't swallow pills at the time), but it was the generic brand. I got my pills for the third month from a different pharmacy that only had the actual brand, but the pharmacist said it wouldn't make any difference. However, this month, I started the new Yaz pills. Instead of having 7 inactive pills, I only have four. I have taken three of the four - tomorrow will be my last inactive pill. However, I still haven't started my period and show no signs of starting tonight or tomorrow. Although it is unlikely that I am pregnant, it is possible, but I've heard that starting a new birth control and cause you to miss a period. Is this true or should I start to worry? I also have been sick with a bad cold and cough the past week, which I just finished antibiotics for. I know antibiotics make the pill less effective, so I used extra protection. Any ideas?

Okay let the ride begin
I had intercourse on the 23rd of oct. then about 5 days later i had some lgt spotting and it went away. Then on the 2nd of nov. i began bleeding for the weekend and that was over sunday, the 4th. Now today the 9th i was spotting again. This has NEVER happened before and i don't know what is going on. What could it be?

I am going on a vacation on 11/21 and my last period started on 10/19, I went to the doctor today and she said it's already too late to take the contraceptive pills (I've never taken them before).
I heard there's Norethisterone to delay period, but I guess they are only sold in the UK and I will need a prescription in order to buy them.
Can Norethindrone also delay period? What about the Provera oral pills(not the shot, not depo provera)? Do I need prescription to get them? How are Norethindrone and Provera different from Norethisterone? How do they work?

Are there any other pills that I could take to delay period for a week? I'd really want to enjoy my vacation without worrying about my period going on!

Ok, I already have my peroid, but before it I was a 34A. Now I am 13, 5'6", and a 34D. I am also not fat. Am I normal, because my mom is a 38B, and the second largest girl in my grade is a 38B also, and there are 7 girls and 8 guys in my class, so I stick out like a sore thumb. Am I normal?

I have had Mirena IUD for about a year now. The doctor told me that the chances if me getting pregnant are very slim. She even told me that we did not need to use condoms.....yes I was stupid enough to listen=) Anyway I have been having dreams everynight that I am pregnant..werid I know. But I am freaking out now. I recently had this procedure done and am curious to hear from other women as to how long of a healing process you had afterward and what you experienced. I'm going on week 3 with some very light spotting and some watery discharge. My physician thought it would be another week or so before that would end but I'd like a woman's point of view on this.

After the test, the consultant told me that HE cannot see my cervix properly and he recommends a treatment and that they have to cut around my cervix and sent it off for a test and I dont have to worry about it. Help me, I dont understand when he said I dont have to worry about it. Why wouldn't I?If that is the case , why do they have to cut me inside?pls enlighten me...

i have been trying to conceive for a year and am having periods approximately 2 months apart. i had hormone blood tests and the LH and progesterone levels were abnormal. i repeated the test last week so am waiting on my 2nd set of results. they were repeated as it was hard for my doctor to know when to take them due to my irregular long cycles. i also had to repeat my full blood count and thyroid as they were doubtfull.
i am going to be referred to hospital if my LH and progesterone levels are abnormal again.
i also get awful pains in my ovaries and am thinking this may be to do with it as the doctor mentioned possible cysts on ovaries. anyone had similar experience?? thanks x

So I ended my period about a week ago. then I went to the bathroom this morning and there was red spots on the toilet paper after I wiped.. nothing was in the toilet from it it was just when I wipped me. Then I went again and there was nothing.. im not cramping or anything down there.. but im freaking out. Plus I discharge a lot.. any suggestions of what this could be?
