I have been taking ortho tricyclen lo for 3 months now. according to the scales my weight has not budged at all, but my pants are definitely fitting tighter. has anyone else experienced this? can the pill cause a redistribution of fat which would explain my hips/thighs getting bigger, but me not gaining any weight?

Yes being on the pill such as Ortho-Tricyclen Lo can cause weight gain but that weight gain is mostly water that comes as a result of the hormones in the medication. I have this problem as well in addition to some additional medical problems.

I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.

I gained very virtually 15lbs from Ortho Tricylen and alter into nauseated for the 1st 2 days of a clean %.. My physique basically mandatory something that wasn't a tricycle pill. i'm now on a low hormone pill this is appropriate. all and sundry is diverse however. i'm a pms chick with undesirable epidermis if i'm not on the pill and the Ortho made it worse. yet you are able to consistently substitute after 3 months in case you dont like it.

I started taking Ortho Lo about 2 months ago and I've already gained 10 lbs. It's ridiculous. I'm going to the doctor to see about getting another form of birth control.
