I recently had this procedure done and am curious to hear from other women as to how long of a healing process you had afterward and what you experienced. I'm going on week 3 with some very light spotting and some watery discharge. My physician thought it would be another week or so before that would end but I'd like a woman's point of view on this.

Thanks!

I had it done 2 years ago and it took me 6 weeks before the discharge stopped. Mine was a huge success. If you want to check out this group on EZ boards it is an excellent place to chat with MANY other women who have had the ablation or those waiting to have it. Here's the link. Good luck to you! http://p076.ezboard.com/bendometrialablationboard

I've not had the procedure done but based on what I've read and heard from others it can take about 6 weeks to fully heal from this.

I have the link to a site that might be able to give you even more information. It's at: http://forums.obgyn.net/womens-health
