count your blessings!! a period is a pain in the tookus to deal with, you are lucky to have gone this long. And yes, it is totally normal, I didn't get mine until I was 18. If you get to 19 without one, it is time to consult a gynecologist, but for now you can lord it over your friends, in that you don't have the hassle that they do.

Some girls get their period as early as 8 yrs old and others get it at 16 or 18 it's normal! dont worry about it ur not missing on anything big some ppl get bloated and craby and others have cramps! which are terrible. Sometimes it depends on when ur mother, grandmother, or sisters got theirs. If ur tht worried about it get some books or go see ur doctor. In my opinion ur lucky! lol

well my cousin didn't get her period until she was 15 and one day all of a sudden she got it... so i still think you might have time but my friends mother didn't get her period until she was like 17 or 18 and it came out light so you probably can still get your period.. or go to a doctor and see whats wrong..

You should go to a doctor. Your sapposed to get your period between 11 and 15 or 3 years after the breasts start to develop.

You need to get checked by a doctor just to be safe. Normal means average. Some people get it earlier some get it later.

Don't worry honey. I didn't have mine 'till I was 15 - 16 years old. You can go see a gycologist if you're really worried about it though.
