Could be a ingrown hair, or inflamed hair follicle, or herpes. Only way to know if it's herpes is to have a Dr see the actual bump or boil. There is no blood work to diagnose it.

More than likely it's an ingrown hair. If it is, tell her to pluck it. She can also apply a hot wet wash clothe to the site, bringing the pimple/boil to the surface so she can pop it. If it looks like something more serious, tell her to go to the doctor.

Tell her to slather Neosporin on it, until it goes away. Usually will disappear in a day if she's quick about it.

she needs to go to the gyno... could be something as simple as an ingrown hair or pimple, or it could be an std... the start of herpes or genital warts.

it's probably to much rubbing against the area, she might need to lay off sex for a while, or not use tampons.
