Yeah, they are diagnostic imaging technicians; the "ologist" suffix generally indicates a doctoral degreed specialist, such as the physician who interprets the images.

Normally a PA with training in Xray and or Ultrasound machines. the training for this is about 18 months

A person who does ultrasounds is a sonographer.
A person who takes x-rays is a radiologic technologist.
