So... I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant. Haven't taken any tests yet, and I want to doubt it more than anything in the world- I'm just a kid in college, I'm not ready to have a baby- but It's been 3 weeks and I've been getting symptoms such as feeling dizzy/faint, tender breasts, etc. Scared to take a test because I know it will be positive and it's just one of those images that stays in your head forever... that damn plus sign!
Anyways, in my searchings for abortion information I thought I found something on Merivale st. (in Nepean, near where I live) and surprisingly, the internet doesn't really tell me about where to find these clinics. I found a good one located in Toronto but is it in Ottawa too? It just won't say! lol oh well. So yeah.. if anyone knows about like, women's clinics or women's health care places somewhere in Nepean (I swear it was on Merivale, which would be helpful) please let me know, thanks so much in advance.

Just use on online Yellow Pages service. You should be able to find the listings of providers. Or maybe even Google Maps.

You need to be sure that you are pregnant before you go in. So take a test or get one at the student health.

Abortion is going to be an emotional thing. Make sure you are ready for it. Make sure that afterward you are going to commit to a birth control regimen.

You mean the place on Bank street where the old man stands with his anti-abortion sign every day? Never been in there, but someone I know had an abortion once and it was a pretty crappy experience. But hey you gotta do what you gotta do. Just know that it will be painful (no matter what they say) and it will take some time to recover from and then the psychological weirdness that follows sometimes stays with you for the rest of your life.

If you are searching using the term "abortion clinic," you are not going to get very good results. Search under "family planning clinic," or "women's health clinic," since most clinics that provide abortions are also centers for women to receive annual exams, birth control, prenatal care, etc.
