Is there a way to predict when your next menstrual cycle will begin? I did have my period already started at the begining of this month on the 3rd finished yesterday the 7th. I am going on a trip at the begining of the month and I dont want to be on it and not enjoy my days off.

Here's the situation: I went to the gyno a few weeks ago so that I can start birth control. She gave me "Loestrin 24" and told me to begin taking it at the start of my next period. My period began this past sunday, and so I took my first pill very late sunday night. I took it late monday and tuesday night, and carelessly forgot to take it at all on wednesday. I realized this when I woke up thismorning (thursday) at 6:00, and took it immediately to compensate for last night, and plan on taking it again late tonight. Here's my concern- throughout the week while taking the b/c my period has been VERY light, almost non existant; today It was extremely heavy. Is this due to the fact that I missed a pill? Should it lighten up again once I'm back on track?

i hear that if you have sex while the girl is standing on her head the sperm cant swim away from gravity, therefor she cant get pregnant!! this is a awsome fact for all the people that dont use condems, my only question is how does that work ? why cant the little soldiers swim up??!?

I drink a gallon of water a day and I am constantly going to the restroom to pee. I wipe down their a lot and now I have developed a rash and it's very sensitive down their that now when I clean my self down their blood comes out and it is the same thing when I do number 2. No the blood is not coming out from the inside when I do #2 it comes out when I wipe myslef. I have been using wipes now to wipe myself but it still hurts because its very sensative. Is their anything that I can use so that I can stop bleeding and so that I can stop being very sensative down their. Please help I am scared. No Jokes Please. GOD BLESS

15 days starts her fertility so we had sex, on the following day she had pain in her lower abdomen and she found out that she had a period, is there anything wrong with her body?

I had sex with my bf the same day i took my last white birth control pill. the previous month i didnt have a period because i took 2 birth control packs in a row, i did this on purpose so i wouldnt get it because of a wedding. should i be worried that i only bled a tiny bit for one day? i've been on the pill for 4 years and was on the last pill of a pack when i had sex, so i'm not sure if pregnancy could be an option, or maybe just weird cycle?

Hi i am a mother of three boys and i am 12 days late of my period! i took like 5 tests at home already and all were negative. with my other boys the tests came back a fast positive. the tests i take now are negative but like after an hour or so they have a barely visible line! but the tests say not to read it after 10 minutes! soo confused and no insurance to go to the dr! Has anyone had or known of anyone that has this result and the outcome? I am not really under any stress and my cycles are always 28 days never later????? HElp!!! :(

I had my IUD taken out on 8/31/07. I had it for 3.5 years. I did not have my period during that time. I had my son in 8/2002. After childbirth, I was put on the depo shot and then had my IUD put it. I did not have a period during any of that time. So to make it shorter my last period was 11/2001. I had a 2.5 day period 10/02/07 and thought I was getting ready to have another. My breasts have been so sore for two weeks, it hurts to sleep. I don't feel bloated or like I am going to start, but I am moody and can cry about anything. I know condoms aren't 100%, but I have not had unprotected sex at all. Does anyone else have similar stories after having an IUD removed? How long did it take for your cycle to become regular? Should I be concerned about pregnancy, or is it just PMS?

this month I haven't gottne my period, however I have been getting cramps for the last two weeks they feel exactly how my period cramps feel except they have lasted two weeks. I got off birth control about two months ago and last month I got my period. I don't think it is possible for me to be pregnant but what do you guys think it is?

My mom has to have a D&C because they found a growth in her uterus. She is 55 years old and in good health. She told me that she had started menapause for about 8 months then she started bleeding really bad then stopped and has had no problems since then. It has been several months. The doctor though wants to find out if this is cancer. I am really worried. What are the chances that this is cancer? I have done some research and found out that many women have growths in their uterus that are not cancerous. Does anyone have any thoughts or experince with this?

But since then I've been having cravings mood swings all the things that would result in pms but my period haven't came yet...I've been having cramps blood in my discharge but no period...I can't be pregant because I used protection and the condom didn't break..or can I be? Or can it be an std?

people being pregnant at 18? I personally am not I just wanted to see what everyone else's opinions were of this matter.... I asked in Adolescent and had a GREAT outcome of answers so i thought i'd ask on a different part of this site just to see the variation i guess.... Ok. first off im 11 weeks pregnant and have had a blood test and urine sample given at about 8 weeks.

I went to doc few days ago regarding an ongoing vaginal infection or issue just regarding an excess discharge. yellowish. sometimes smells bad sometimes not too bad but always a smell.
she did a swab of discharge and urine test. she said to come in in a week for results
She rang me today. the next day. saying to come in today. as they cant discuss on phone she was vaugue she kinda said something about a urine/bladder infection that needs antibiotics. which is crap i think cause its discharge not urinary tract. i asked is thats all thats wrong she said, 'oh i cant discuss anymroe on phone' she then asked if i had burning with the urinating or anything. I said no. said i had to come in tomorrow cause im away.
So i have appointment for tomorrow, but im stressing that its serious. if it was detectable in urine wouldnt the other one showed something. so being a swab.. chlamidia?

I had a baby 4 months ago .. and just got back on the pill (ortho tri cyclin) 2 months ago. Last month everything was normal .. but this month I had a little bit of spotting a week ago (which is 2 weeks before my period is due) and since then I've had dull cramping in my uterus .. is this just my body reacting to the birth control pills? has anyone else had this happen?

When I first began taking the pill it was 10 years ago -- and I don't remember the symptoms (I was a young teenager) .. now I'm back on them and I've had light light spotting and dull uterus cramping.
Is this going to happen every month? or is it just my body getting used to the pill??
