My doctor switch me from yasmin to loestrin 24fe. Just wanted some thought from people who have taken this birth control. Does it make you gain weight? Are your periods really 2 to three days? I would appreciate any insight. Thank You!

right hi should i be concerned what it is i had my son on 27th august and since i had him i bleed then just last friday when i passed a clot was sent 2 hospital 2 get it checked everything came back fine then my bleeding stopped that day and no more bleeding until today it started of brown(old blood) and then started going red its very very light that i only need 2 use one or two towels a day
my question is should i worry bout this or is this my period back.
also wil this bleeding if it continues will it affected me from gettin the and iud next week

Ive been on birth control since I've been 15. I became sexually active at 17. I am now 19. Im 5' 6" 135lbs

I used to be on Depo, but it was so hard on my body. It gave me headaches, made me depressed, and I gained about 10lbs on it. After 2yrs of misery I finally switched.

I am now on the pill. It made my boobs bigger (lol) But Ive been on it for about 4mos and I've gained an additional 10lbs! =( !!!

The weight gain is crazy I'll stop taking it to start my peroid and I drop 5 or 6lbs the next day.. then once I start again I usually gain more back on.

What do u ladies recommend?? This weight gain is starting to effect myselfesteem and my clothes are starting to become tight.

So is there a brand of pills that dont cause to much weight gain or another method? I heard that NuvaRing cuases you to gain the most weight?

I've already had two vaginal ultrasounds and I'm sure I'll have more to go! What's the norm with shaving down there?? That's the only place I am just natural (besides keeping the bikini line shaved).

I've had two male doctors now..and I'm just curious. Do they think it's gross when women don't shave down there? Or what do they think of that??

I had just gotten my first Pap test. I had gotten my physical and learned how to give myself a breast exam. That I was okay with. There was no one else in there with me, and I got a rectal exam(ewww!) I was told by the RN that it was standard procedure to do that. I don't think that it was. Is it?

I have been newly diagnosed. My TSH levels were very high..and doctor has started me on Synthroid 25 mcg daily. I gained a lot of weight (roughly 10 lbs), I have been very achey, tired, irritable. Has anyone had any of these symptoms or others? Do you lose the weight eventually after being on the meds? How long does it take to feel better and have more energy? Any side effects from meds? Are we predisposed to other autoimmune disorders now? I am being retested in 3 months to check my levels. I'm hoping to feel better, and thinner by then! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated or advice. : )))

I am not sure how this works. I had my cycle September 25-30. Then on cd13-17 (which would be the 7-11 of October), I was spotting lightly. Not enough for a pad and barely enough for liner. It is like a rust color. You know like brownish red/to light pink. I am not sure if its ovulation bleeding or implantation. How soon does implantation occur? I expect my next cycle to be on 25. So I'm not sure. Has any had any experience like this. Meaning is implantation bleeding always at the time you are to have your cycle or does it come later. Does any of this make any sense. Thanks for the help or advice in advance.

Alright this has been going on for a while. I'm not sexual active, I am on birth control pills and I've been on it for four or five years. These abnormal pains are located around my stomache area and this started about a couple of months ago. I thought it was from cheese because every time I eat it, I feel dizzy or feel like throwing. Sometimes when I eat cheese the pain comes. I stop eatting with the cheese completely and I still have the pains. I went to the gynecologist and she didn't find anything. What could this be?

ever since i've had my period (6 years),
i've been having this white discharge coming out of me.

its a solid white fluid that comes out and its sometimes lumpy

This discharge comes out all of the time, except when i'm on my period.

Theres no itching, bumps, or redness
and theres a small odor and it keeps getting worse the older i get, but it's nothing outragous

I know this isn't dangerous, i know its not a yeast infection
because: ive had this for years
and trust me, i know what a yeast infection is.

i am sexually active, but this has been happening before i even started having sex.



I just want to know how to get rid of it.
I'm tired of wearing panty liners and changing my underwear CONSTANTLY.

also, it's embarrasing when someone does my laundry, or when my boyfriend tries to take off my underwear.

its sort of embarrassing.
any advice helps and please, i am human and i cannot help this, so no mean comments please

Im 14 and in 9th grade. I started smokin in 7th or 8th grade. I only had maybe one or two a week then. For the past few months, maybe since the summer ive been smoking alot. Ok so My perid was regular until about 2 months ago Ive only had it for like 11 months But during the summer I had like a day long period and then something like 20 days later I had my full period Then the next month i had 5 days of spotting and then again about 20 days later i got my full one that was about 10 days ago and now Im bleeding again! Whats going on? Im really scared that there might be something wrong with me. I dnt want to go to the gyno just yet (Im 12) And i feel weird asking anyone about it .Please help me ! Oh and 1 more thing everytime ive been spotting or having my full period one of my friends (diff ones each time) has had her period cud i just be picking up on their cycles or is this serious?
