NOPE!!

You can get pregnant ANY time during the month. This is why the calender method is the worst form of birth control. Always use protection

Yes (and this is an educated answer, unlike those above). You can only get pregnant for about 6-7 days MAX of your period cycle. That is when your body has the proper environment not to kill the sperm, and you have an egg within 5 days of when you have the proper environment (I hope that's not confusing!). Saying that, sometimes it is difficult to figure out when that is. There is a lovely book called Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler that is an easy read and gives you the information about when you are and are not fertile. You have to monitor your temperature in the morning, your cervical fluid and your cervical position (optional). The book tells you the myths of your cycle (that you can get pregnant at any time is one of them), and tells you how to manage your fertility. I happen to have a rock-solid cycle, so I can rely on the method pretty well and know that I am not fertile. Some people with irregular periods cannot fully figure out when they are fertile very easily, and so shouldn't have unprotected sex (which is always a risk unless you KNOW your partner 100% is safe).

Anywho, yes, you can, but you have to be very careful and responsible about it. Good luck.

It is possible for a woman to get pregnant at any point during her cycle, including during her period. Use a condom every time, the entire time.

Sure. But it's like Russian Roulette.

Everyone's body is a little different. Not all cycles are regular, and a number of things can change your ovulation date. Sperm can live for quite a few days under the right conditions.

And that doesn't even TOUCH the STD issues.

there are just too many factors for safety.

No. I have even heard that it is possible to get pregnant during your period. ??? But I certainly wouldn't risk it.
