It is definately time to quit.

Those are withdrawl symptoms, and are very normal when trying to quit.

You might want to look online for a support group. Here's one: http://www.stopsmokingsupportgroup.com/ Some schools might even have one-- I know that my high school did.

If you're going through a pack over a few days, then it's simple nicotine withdrawal. It's a nuisance, but not hard to overcome and the worst goes away in a day or two. Probably will take a week or so for it to get entirely out of your system.

Your worst enemy is your mental addiction, or the 'Habit'. It's the memory your body has built up and wants to keep doing. Has nothing to do with physical addiction. It's just a habit, like picking your nose, or biting your nails, or spitting on the street. Just takes some concentration to stop doing it.

Go to the doctor and get chantix. If you quit now, you will never feel the results of you smoking like I do now.

And, I still have a hard time. Because the older you get the harder it is to quit and stay off smokes.

What helped my Mom when she quit, was that everytime she wanted a smoke, she drank OJ. Pick something heathly like a fruit your can bite into to take out your frustration while trying to quit. Also, if you are allowed to walk around your neighborhood, add that to the afternoon cravings with your heathly snack. You'll see a great change in your cravings.

no you are. i've been smoking for 9 years and i can quit. You just have to stop hanging out with the people you now hang with. Smoking is an addiction due to repitetion. You'll figure it out that you smoke more on the daily basis at the same time everyday ex: before school, after school, during lunch. That is cause by constintly doing it day by day but not by addiction. I use to smoke everyday morning, lunch, dinner, breaks and i figure out that i smoke at the same time on the days that i'm at work or school.

That's why it is called withdraw. You will physically and emotionally mentally withdraw. you will always have withdrawals when you try to quit. But they only last a few days
you should be able to handle it just tell people whats going on so they don't get mad at you for being bitchy. Why did you start anyway didn't people tell you it was bad and quiting was extremely hard.

Try using the patch or the gum that helps you quit. You're body is still growing and smoking will only stunt your growth and make you look older (and not in a good way). When you feel the need to start smoking, try to keep yourself busy whether it's homework, exercising, etc. Good luck in trying to quit!

Those are the normal withdrawal symptoms. It's definitely time to quit. Good luck.

Even if you don't manage to quit the first time, keep trying. Anything you do to reduce the amount that you are smoking is good. Stopping entirely is obviously better.

There are many products available to help you stop. Please talk to a doctor or pharmacist if you find that going cold turkey is too hard.

Well those are the effects I believe, whenever you stop smoking. That is the reason why people get addicted to drugs and smoking. So yes it is normal that you have those effects.

But I'm not the expert in this, so maybe ask a guardian? Idk. Hoped I helped.
