Women's Health - July 2007

Right this is a period question i had ma last period which started on the 13th not due ma nxt on till the 11th of this month. This is just a general question 4 days before ma period ( about a week) i get like i need to eat sweet stuff e.g i need to eat a whole packet a biscuits cant stop on one, and then eat a whole packet of sweets i just need to eat is this related to me been due on soon. If so why do you get these weird habits.

Has your sex life changed since you have had it do you enjoy sex just as much ? do you have to do anything differant ? do you have to take hormone shots ? how old were you when you had yours ? I am 23 and the doctor told me in order to fix the uteran problem i am having that is basically my only option or live with the pain but right now me and my husband can't even have sex due to the pain but I am scared to have a hystorectomy cause i am so young and I might want more children though I already have 3 . My problem is that my uterus won't stay in place so it hangs low and it is tilted . Anyone else have this exact same problem . By the way this is my only problem no growths no endometrosis or anything just my uterus hanging low .

I had my first period in march & my second one in April.Then it all of a sudden STOPPED!
I don't think I'm pregnant unless I was raped or something?
I had a brownish discharge yesterday.Just a little bit.

My sister is 19 and profundly handicapped,she is currently in resendenital care but we gave daily contact.She has been diagonesed with ostisprosis.My question is can my mother see her medical report..My sisters doctor has said she would send them to my mothers G.P but he is not my sisters G.P. Apparently boobs grow in growth spurts every two years, two years before you first start your period, when you start your period and then two years after that and so on. Is this true???

Also is it true that when your period is in a rhythm each month then your boobs have stopped growing?

me and my gf have stopped using condoms, she's on the pill and we're both happy not to use condoms (we know about preventing STD's etc. and we're both clear. When I worea condom I would ejaculate inside her, but now I don't wear one she wants me to pull out and ejaculate outside her vagina. I've asked her but she just says she prefers it. Why?

I had a hysterectomy ten days ago. There's a bump at the corner of the incision where they finished sewing it up with a knot...is that normal? I don't think anyone should have an "outie" on one corner of her incision! That's just not right!

how do you use a tampon? when ever i tried, it always hurt and was sore so i must not of been doing it right. i normally use pads as they're more easy. I would like to try and use tampons so does any woman know how you use them properly??

at the end of my menstrual cycle, usually the last day, i have several huge bowel movements!!! i don't know how else to say it, without barfing!! anyway, i've always been this way!! my oldest daughter also experiences this every month!!! have you ever heard of this??? is it normal?? abnormal???
by the way, i've had my period for about 25, 26 years now, and they only last about 3 days, or so!!

If not, what determines virginity? Also, are tampons more sanitary than pads? I want to switch because they seem more convenient and cleaner. Also, what about TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome)? I heard that tampons may lead to it. Should I switch? By the way, I'm eighteen, if that makes a difference.

ive only gotten my period two times before...and whenever i think about insterting a tampon in my vagina i become like shaky. I hate pain and even though everyone says tampons don't hurt it just kind of freaks me out. I don't think i can ever use tampons!!

For those who have used them, what made you relax? [i dont have my period now but for next time.]
And does it hurt? Like please be honest.
