I know I am going to have it for a long time I am not that stupid I have had it already for 15 years, I was just wondering if there was a way to cut it short instead of the 4 to 5 days. I have never needed to or even thought about it before and I jsut really would love for it to be done with today and not in 2 more days

Are you serious? You cannot stop it! Most periods last about 7 days so you are in for a few more days of bleeding. It is a monthly life cycle that cannot be stopped until you get pregnant or get older and they taper off. Just plan on bleeding for about a week and once a month....there is no stopping it in mid-cycle!

Er... you can't demand your uterus to stop shedding its lining. Have you ever had your period before? This can't be a serious question. Sorry, but you'll have to wait it out and see just how long it lasts. It can range btwn 2-7 days. I wouldn't advise it, but there are pills that you can get from a physician that can make your period happen only four times a year (but they'll last 12 days instead of 2-7).

If you take birth control pills there are types you can take that can eliminate your period for months at a time. I know it can be a real inconvenience to deal with every month. Talk to your doctor.
