It's normal. Often when you're starting out, you'll skip a month or two, I skipped about eight before I started again! Don't worry, it'll come back. =)
Oh, and enjoy being period-free while it lasts, hee hee.

That is perfectly normal. It may take even several years for your period to become regular. I'm 18 and it's just beginning to come once a month. At one point mine didn't even come for about 3 months. The brownish discharge is fine too, just old blood that decided to come out now. Don't worry about any of it. Your body will settle itself eventually :-)

Your body is adjusting, if you haven't had unprotected sex then you are not pregnant. Your body knows what to do. Sometimes when you first start having your period this can happen. Your body is simply adjusting to new hormones and fluctuations in those hormones. As long as you have at least 6 periods per year you are normal. Your body is working out its schedule and every young girl and woman are different. Don't sweat it. Stay a good girl.

It's just our body's way of telling you that change is going on. Since you are just starting, it's going to be like that for a few years. It's going to be irregular. It can come on when u least expect it, and last for about a week. Try not to worry about it, it always makes things worse. Start carrying around a pad or pantyliner, cause you'll never know when it might come on.

Periods are irregular when you first start. Don't worry. Sometimes they can skip several months in the beginning. It can take up to 2 years to regulate, but eventually it will come every month.

Don't joke about rape ... some people will report you for that and as a victim I don't appreciate it.
I reference to your question, it could be a combination of things, stress and weight gain are 2 of the biggest factors.

don't worry, your period is probably just late.if you've had a lot of stress lately then that could cause it too not be on time,or even miss it.if you've just started your period don't expect it to normal.up until you've had it for like a year,it won't come every month/on time.

it's very normal. after your first or second period, it could stop for a while...maybe even a year...or like 3 or 4 months.
that happened to me after my second period.
if you have a brown discharge, it is very normal if you just started your period. don't worry. it is all normal.
