I just turned 15 and have never used a tampon before. I keep trying to put one in but it doesn't go in. I have read the instructions on the package and am using the pearl kind because I know those are better. I am going to an amusement park for an entire day this weekend and I would worry less about leaking if I used a tampon. Please help!!

I am 15 years old.I weigh approximatly 6 stone and am 5ft 5; I am only eating one meal a day (which is at 5pm). This month my periods have seemed to stop, eventhough before they stopped they did start to come very late. I was wondering, if they wern't coming because of me not eating. If you think you can help me, please reply. Thank you.

I had breast implants done about 6 months ago. I have been feeling these cold/hot tingling sensation in different spots of my chest, followed by annoying pain, for the last 3 days. Anybody ever shared the same experience? Is that normal or should I be alarmed? Thanks!

My girlfriend is occasionally late with taking her birth control pill, she doesn't miss it, but she may be a few hours late with taking it. And this doesn't even happen often. I just want to know at what point of being late with taking the pill are we in the "danger zone"?

Is there any truth to the rumor that drinking bottled water left in the car to get hot causes breast cancer? Supposedly the heat makes chemicals in the plastic leech out of the bottle, and some of these toxins have been found in breast cancer. Can anyone find any scientific backing for this?

This is on snoops.com, link is below......please read and let me know if you have heard of anyone with this. I want to know if it is true, cause my daughter buys walmart milk.

Mitzi Lyons, lives in Gainesville, TX.
Her 11 yr old daughter, Marissa, for THREE years has incurred menstrual problems
(bleeding several more days than a regular menstrual cycle each month)
and within the last year she started producing milk.
Her doctors have performed every test, many surgeries, put her on birth control and the last straw was a hysterectomy in January.

Mitzi's dad started research on the internet of his granddaughter's problem and found out about rBST in milk (injecting cows with steroidal hormones so they will produce more milk).
Doctor's were skeptical if this could be "why" this little girl was experiencing these problems as it was approved by the FDA. Wal-Mart Great Value milk has the rBST in it.

I don't even know where to start. I have a PPO plan, so I can see just about anyone. I have a list of doctors, but would love a recommendation rather than just taking a stab in the dark.

Any advice is appreciated.

Hi everyone

While I was on vacation, I was due to get my period (nearing the end of my contraceptive pills for the month), but instead of going on the 7 day break (or placebo pills), I bought a new pack and just kept going to hold off my period.

I'm someone who has a very heavy period, and I'm afraid of how it's going to be at the end of this month now that I've missed one.

Also, I just got a new prescription to take these pills, though I've been taking the pill for a couple of years already. So I've never experienced what the side effects of this pill might be during my period (sometimes I feel nauseous, get cramps, get a sensation in my legs..).

Basically, I'm just afraid that my period, and the side effects might be two times as intense since I skipped my last one.

What do you say? And have you done this before to miss a period? Are there any risks?

Thank you so much!!

My friend suffers excruciating pain during some months she gets her period. Some months are better than others. For those bad months, she can hardly walk and is practically bedridden. A few months ago we had to take her to the hospital because the pain was unbearable for her. She got really sick and was vomiting every time she ate.

The doctors cannot seem to diagnose the problem. This has been happpening for about 2 years now and we still don't know what the cause is.

Have any of you ladies experienced similar problems and if so, what did you do to correct it.

I am 21 years old and have very regular periods. my last period was two weeks ago and lasted about 4 days and it has been like that since i was 14. my partner and i recently had a couple "oops" incidents and i planned on going on the pill later this week. about two days ago i started getting terrible cramps which i have never gotten before, and i felt tired and sick, then yesterday i got a very heavy blood flow, the blood was almost black and thick and heavy. i havent seen any clots. is it possible that i had a miscarriage? could i possibly be pregnant from my incident last week and already have a miscarriage from it? my body is usually very regular and i dont like rushing into worrying but this is very odd..seeing how my next period isnt for another 2 weeks and it is always light.
