I am 21 years old and have very regular periods. my last period was two weeks ago and lasted about 4 days and it has been like that since i was 14. my partner and i recently had a couple "oops" incidents and i planned on going on the pill later this week. about two days ago i started getting terrible cramps which i have never gotten before, and i felt tired and sick, then yesterday i got a very heavy blood flow, the blood was almost black and thick and heavy. i havent seen any clots. is it possible that i had a miscarriage? could i possibly be pregnant from my incident last week and already have a miscarriage from it? my body is usually very regular and i dont like rushing into worrying but this is very odd..seeing how my next period isnt for another 2 weeks and it is always light.

Hi : )

Below are some of the signs and symptoms of a miscarriage. See if this helps you. And I've included a link to some very comprehensive information, also, for you.

Feel better!

Vaginal bleeding is the warning sign that precedes nearly all miscarriages. However, it does not always lead to miscarriage. Many women experience spotting in early pregnancy and most do not miscarry.

Regardless, a woman should contact a physician if she experiences any bleeding, even light spotting, during pregnancy or if she suspects she is having a miscarriage. A pregnant woman should also contact her physician is she notices tissue or clot-like material passing from the vagina. This type of material should be collected in a clean container and brought to a physician for examination, when possible.

Other signs and symptoms of a miscarriage may include:

Pelvic pain (usually worse than menstrual cramps)
Weight loss
White-pink mucus or discharge
Painful contractions (occurring every five to 20 minutes)
Frequent bowel movements
Brown or bright red bleeding or spotting
Decrease in signs of pregnancy (e.g., morning sickness or loss of breast tenderness)

I had a miscarriage, and then a new child no longer long after, then yet another miscarriage. thinking i replaced into informed i could in no way get pregnant, I considered that one a blessing. 2 years later i bypass pregnant returned, and we had fun and theory we could in no way get pregnant returned. Then #3 replaced into born 18 months after #2...WOW! Then #4 replaced into 15 months after #3, then 18 months later #5....all of us started thinking it replaced into some style of cosmic shaggy dog tale! #6 replaced into born 2 years after #5, and huge style seven (we call her seven of 7) replaced into born 2 years after #6. My SIL additionally confronted various miscarriages, 4 or 5 i think of, she stopped telling us after a mutually as. She have been given pregnant approximately ten years in the past however, and then popped out 5 in ten years. So we are the two particularly happy with our little advantages. i'm sorry on your loss, i do no longer understand what else to show you how to already know different than to maintain your hopes up. I in no way theory i could be so blessed, and that i undergo in thoughts those days of dread, each and each month of praying. We have been finished nuts for the period of our pregnancies, particularly when you consider that all of our miscarriages have been after 12 weeks...some distance into the trimester of 'protection'.

This is something you should know. 90% of the time when an egg is fertilized it doesn't stick to the uterine wall. It has to stick to the uterine wall in order to become a baby. Assuming the egg was fertilized it just ran it's normal course. Whether you call that a miscarriage or not depends on who you ask.

the best thing to do is to go to the dr. have you tried taking a pregnancy test? try not to freak out and just take it step by step before you start jumping into conclusions. just take a pt test and if its negative just go to the dr and tell him what you have been experiencing, hope everything goes good!
